Legend Chapter 907

Here’s Chapter 907

Last chapter of the Winter Life arc.
I’ve made some changes to the server so this will definitely post on time and I am not jinxing this or else I’m going to be very, very, very annoyed.

Couple of fun things in this chapter kind of unique to Japan in case anyone is interested.
Gyotaku, or fish prints, is a traditional form of printing where ink is applied to a fish and then pressed into paper, originally for fishers to record their catches but eventually became an art form.
Japanese snowmen, or yukidaruma, are typically given an upsidedown bucket to wear on their heads. Mikan, Japanese mandarins, are also commonly placed near or on snowmen.

EDIT: I am very, very, very annoyed. Back to debugging why my missed post script didn’t fire.

Legend Chapter 906

Here’s Chapter 906

We are nearing the end of this short arc, it ends next chapter in fact.
And, we will soon be seeing the return of a past character, and a character they certainly are.
If you take a look at the table of contents, you might even guess who it is.
I’m still finalising the arc name as the Japanese text is a bit…..esoteric in it’s description.

Legend Chapter 905

Here’s Chapter 905

Trust the first chapter post I make after everything breaks to say that hopefully nothing breaks to break, surely it won’t happen again right? I need to set up an alert system, WIP, we’ll see.

EDIT: And of course this fails to post……time to learn how to set up a WP cron job I guess.

Legend Chapter 903

Here’s Chapter 903

Sorry if anyone ran into issues with the chapter 902 post last week. Everything looks fine on my end, chapters posted on time and I could access them myself, so not entirely sure what happened there. I’ll keep an eye out in case it happens again though.

Website Outage

The site went down a couple of days ago, sorry about that. It looks like the backend folded to web crawler bots, but I’ve made some updates which should hopefully fix that.

tldr; For the people who want to know what happened, bots made too many connections to the battlefield, causing the server CPU to overload and freeze up. I couldn’t ssh in because of that and had to reboot the instance. I didn’t have a static IP set of, so the instance reboot gave me a new IP that desynced it from the DNS. So now I’ve been rules to get some bot traffic, set up a static server IP, and am now waiting for DNS changes to propagate. Fun times.
