Here’s Chapter 390,

Second chapter for the week.
Still feeling pretty tired, although more mentally than physically.
Few things happened today that weren’t great, but c’est la vie.

This chapter actually rounds out Volume 10 of the light novel.
Volume 11 of the light novel covers most of the Labyrinth City Exil arc……I think.

Very tired as usual ahaha.
I have my research proposal presentation on Tuesday and still need to finishe my presentation slides haaaaah.

Side note, if any of you didn’t like the writing in the previous chapter when the ‘dancer’ was introduced, rest assured that it wasn’t great translating it either lol.

Here’s Chapter 388,

Rei meets a battle junkie that gives him an offer that……he must refuse or else Elena will bury him 6ft underground.

Here’s Chapter 387,

Maybe the Church of Holy Light isn’t as bad as it seems?
Then again, loan sharks also tell you their rates before you borrow money from them……

Next chapter, we get to meet with another……interesting character?
Someone who’s the opposite of Byune in many ways.

Side note before I forget, I’ve added an illustration that was missing from chapter 373 as Elena get’s off the carriage at the small village.

Here’s Chapter 386,

Rei and Elena leave the dungeon and head back to the guild.

Also slight edit, reading ahead a bit, it turns out the Church of Holy Light doesn’t take a flat 30% of the rewards when hired.
They take a flat 30% per person when hired, so if you hire 3 of them, there goes 90% of your rewards.

Here’s Chapter 385,

The first but not last meeting with Byune in the dungeon.

I wonder how she’ll end up joining Rei and Elena……

Short explanation about the Church of Holy Light and we’re into the first floor of the dungeon.

We also get to see Byune, aka protecc target.

We finally head for the dungeon, but not quite enter the dungeon.
Not yet at least.

Here’s Chapter 382,

So, we take a short break to learn about the 3 (4) families that rule(d) Exil.
I don’t care what you say about the others, but Byune is a protecc at all costs.

Unsurprisingly, this chapter also sets up what you can kinda guess is coming.
And if you didn’t guess before, you definitely can guess now.

Here’s Chapter 381,

Elena keeps getting interrupted at the best times and it’s starting to get on her nerves.
Let’s hope Rei learns fast enough.
