16. ZIZO

The hologram of a robot inevitably caught my eye.

It had a 1m tall humanoid stone statues tied all over its body, creating an odd atmosphere.

“The official name of this robot is unknown, but it was introduced during the middle of the galactic war.”

“What is with the stone statues?”

“It was said that it was a religious stone statue from a long time ago. It was an object of worship, widespread among the civilisation.”

“Why are they tied to the robot?”

“It seems that their purpose was to make enemies afraid of punishment to hesitate attacking them.”

In some ways, I feel like this is more of a punishment.

“Did it work?”

“No. In the galactic war that took place across stars, it had almost no effect in the war due to the difference in cultures. It seems others were creeped out by the bizarre appearance at most.”

“As expected……”

“In the sense of being afraid of punishment, it seems that it was hated by its allies. Whenever it sortied, it was hated by allied robots. In addition to being extremely conspicuous on the battlefield, the stone statues all over its body were dead weight, causing it to only have 70% of the mobility of an ordinary robot. However, it was recorded that it mysteriously survived.”

“What happened to it in the end?”

“One day, a lightning bolt suddenly struck the robot and destroyed it, along with the inventor, who had been doing maintenance.”

I wondered who had put it there, but there was an artificial flower and a piece of candy in front of the glass case.
