“Paradox is an illegally modified version of SN Corporation’s Station, a general purpose combat robot.”
The 10m tall robot was, as far as I knew, a common sight in the galaxy.
“What was modified?”
“Its power unit. It’s a very experimental machine and it was documented that they were aiming to install a perpetual motion engine.”
“Perpetual motion engine?”
“This perpetual motion engine was said to have been based on sticking buttered toast onto the back of a pet animal that was once widespread. The pet animal was collected from all over the galaxy, to the point of extinction. That animal was the original idea for the KONEKO.”
“Butter?”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“Who knows.”
An animal related to butter. Maybe it was a pancake its previous life or something.
“Of course, this power reactor is incomplete and will not start. Now that the animal has become extinct, the theory behind it will remain a mystery.”
It is a robot with many mysteries.
