34. Red Spider Lilies Bloom in the Graveyard

“The final work of the Death Flower series, Red Spider Lily.”

The last one was red.

On its back was a sword and a long rifle.

I had a bad feeling about this.

“What is this?”

“As you can see, if you combined both long range and short range, wouldn’t it be strong?”

“No, probably not.”

No matter how you looked at it, they would just get in the way of each other.

“When operated as a close range fighter, the sniper rifle became dead weight. When operating as a sniper, the sword also became a burden.”

Of course that was the case.

“The performance of this robot turned out to be a disappointment, lacking both the structural performance of the Cherry Blossom while keeping the vulnerability of the Hydrangea. It was said to be backwards compatible with the Hydrangea. But because it was designed with close quarters combat in mind, its shooting power and range were reduced.”

What a mess.

“Was there anything good about it?”

“It was popular with a few weapon enthusiasts and children.”
