I had this chapter translated and all ready to go yesterday but completely forgot to schedule it for release.
I have my Masters Thesis proposal seminar next Tuesday and pretty much went straight to work on it when I woke up this morning.

Quick note, MBC ToC has been updated now, I don’t update it all the time because I get lazy with it but I’ll try my best to keep it up to date.

And here’s Chapter 144,

Can’t think of anything witty to say this time so I will leave it at that.

Well, this year, April Fools is on the release day.
I guess that just means I’ll have to release a AF chapter and push the real chapter to tomorrow……

Nah just kidding ahahaha. Real chapter comes out in about 10 minutes.

I hope you have all brushed up on your Looney Toons speak because this chapter is narrated by Elmer Fudd.
To be honest, I ran out of idea for this chapter and ended up running with the first semi readable joke translator I could find ahahaha.

AF Chapter

Here’s Chapter 143,

We get a bit of backstory to Galahat.
Also, I read a bit ahead and man I did not expect that plot twist, look forward to it.
In the meantime, looks likes Rei might have more ‘guests’.

Also, sorry for not fixing the mistakes for the past few chapters, I’ve just had no time with Master’s thesis preparation and work. I will be going through them today though to fix everything up.

EDIT: Almost forgot, my bad for any earlier confusion but Bolton isn’t actually a noble, he’s just a really rich guy with power close to a local noble.

Here’s Chapter 142,

Lucky for you all, I found out that Eastern Time daylight saving kicked in last week and made sure that all the MBC posts, which are scheduled to Eastern Time, are synced to the release on my own site, which runs on GMT.

So hopefully no broken links, or so I say now ahahah.

Had been planning a few other announcements but the past week has been really busy for me and doesn’t look like it will let up soon so they will have to wait.

On the story, it will slow down for the next few chapters before ramping back up near the end.

Here’s Chapter 141,

And we move on from Murt’s perspective back into the present.

There are two things I would quickly like to mention.

The first is that joeglens from silenttranslations has revamped the MBC site and it should be easier to load and view both on desktop and mobile.
It also has a dark mode in case any of you want to use that.
Hopefully, this will make viewing the chapters on MBC more comfortable.

The second thing is a potential increase in chapter releases which I haven’t fully worked out yet due to sorting out schedules. More chapters will require you all to do something though, such as solving rage inducing riddles only for me to tell you your answer is wrong.

Here’s Chapter 140,

This one is about how Murt ended up in this situation.
Honestly, if you feel this is filler, I won’t disagree with you, but I feel the author has written this chapter to clear up a few things.

Galahat is too much of a nice guy and Murt is…….also too much of a nice guy ahaha.

This chapter was honestly hard to translate, 80% of it was just description text compared to the usual 50/50 with conversations.
Or maybe I was just tired when I finished translating it.
Either way I apologise if the quality feels worse on this chapter.

Here’s Chapter 139,

And I’m back from my holiday, I’ve had a great time but it’s good to be home.

I would just like to address a few questions that people have been asking.

Translation speed:
Some people have been asking if I can translate faster because at my current speed it will take me a few decades to finish.
The answer to that is, to be honest, I probably will not finish translating this series.
Unless I translate more than 7 chapters a week, I won’t even be making any progress on catching up to the authors writing speed.
If you really want to read ahead, learn Japanese XD.
It will take less than a few decades and is an actual life skill that can benefit you.
The other hope is that machine translation gets good enough to provide decent translations within the next few years.
Aside from that, thank you for reading my translations and sticking around, it’s great to read all your comments.

I’m back in Aus, with a few more souvenirs, notably limited edition Gundam models.
This week is pretty much the end of my holidays.
After this, it’s straight back to uni and work.
